The Weekly Prompt #1: Welcome!

Hi friend,

Welcome to the first issue.

Here's the deal: every week, one email. Short enough to read with your morning coffee.

Useful enough to actually matter. No fluff. No "AI is changing everything" takes you've already heard. You've read that one (Probably twelve times).

Just practical things you can use, explained like a person, not a press release.

This is something different.

Why this exists:

I spend a lot of time thinking about AI (not in a obsessive, living-in-my-mum's-basement way, but in a genuinely-find-this-fascinating way).

Every week I come across something worth sharing. A new update. A better way to prompt. A small insight that changes how you use it day to day.

I'll be thinking about this stuff regardless. The Weekly Prompt is just how I share it with the people who want to hear it.

What to expect each week:

A prompt you can steal. A tip that makes AI more useful. Something new. Something interesting worth knowing.

That's it.

One thing to try this week:

You can ask AI to Steelman the opposite of your own argument.

Give it your idea, then ask it to make the strongest possible case against it.

It's one of the most underused ways to pressure-test your thinking before you commit to something.

Quote of the week:

"AI is neither good nor evil. It's a tool, and like any tool, its impact depends entirely on the hands that use it." — Fei-Fei Li

That's issue one. See you next week,

Shantanu

P.S. If someone forwarded this to you and you want it directly, you know what to do.
